This gem is from 1958 film Aakhri Dao. The song is picturised on Shekhar and Nutan. The lyricist is Majrooh Sultanpuri. This song is one of the couple of plagiarised songs by Madan Mohan, the original song being "Yeh hawa yeh raat yeh chandni" sung by Talat Mahmood and composed by Sajjad Hussain for the film "Sangdil", but the voice of Mohammed Rafi in this composition makes all the difference. Rafi has sung the song with such elan that even after 62 years, the song has the fragrance of a fresh flower.
